It took more than 12 straight wins to make this burger

Life is good, we hope. A long time Milwaukee area cafeteria, “George Webb” fulfilled it’s correct prediction on Thursday by  giving out free hamburgers to what should be tens of thousands of patrons at their locations which inadvertently doubles as an area wide rally to get the home team to win their last two games of the series (both here in town) and move on.

But it’s important not to forget and appreciate the workers at these restaurants for making this happen. Sure, when I walked in, the burger was given to me from a plastic container, a little cold, but I was greeted by two very nice employees both with home team themed shirts on looking like they were real proud to be a part of the celebration. One could imagine the countless hours of preparation, ordering goods, as well as having to find the labor in an environment where there is in-deed a labor shortage in order to get this thing off without a hitch. In fact, from the reports I received through the first half of the time the free burgers were available, lines went smoothly.

Thank you George Webb, thank you George Webb employees!
