Anti-Vendor Issues at Fiserv Forum

As of right now, there will be no in-seat beer vending in the new Fiserv Forum. Beer Vendors (most of whom were rehired from vending at BMO Harris Bradley Center) are being restricted to selling beer from carts in the concourses. It had been reported to Drinks In The Seats® that the Bucks do not want selling of alcoholic beverages in the seating area. Further, an anti-vending device, “Beer Jet” has also been installed and ready for use in the new arena. Please go to New Bucks Arena Beer Hawkers Kept In Dark for what we all have reported and potential actions we are considering taking so far. Instead, the arena is attempting to give fans use of a “beer app” to order a beer from their smartphones which is promised to be delivered to their seat within 5 minutes. It also has been reported that the “vendors” who are selling beer there but restricted to those carts on the concourses are not getting paid commission, but rather a $9.00 per hour wage. That’s even less than the workers covered under the “Mash Workers” agreement there. For more, go to Timeline listed at 10/21/18.

    1. The vendors should be kneeling and not be making any annoying sales pitches. We believe if those etiquettes are adhered to, the seating area will accommodate all parties involved. That being fans who don’t want the services of in-seat vendors at the time, fans who do, and in-seat vendors.
